Rockabilly
Round Ups have
been around for a long time. Dalton Piercey, the promoter
of Napa's Rockabilly Round Up, first learned about "rockabilly
round ups" from his father Dalton who hailed from
the rich musical traditions of Memphis Tennessee. Our annual
Rockabilly Round Up "invites and rounds up" established
and new Rockabilly bands to northern California. From honky-tonk
to neo-rockabilly and a touch of surf, the performers rock
the audience with genuine Americana Roots music.
Having a stage for up and coming rockabilly artists is essential
to keeping the musical art form alive.. And veteran players
help to pass on the tradition to the next generation
of rockabilly kats and kittens.
Our Rockabilly Round Up brings hundreds of attendees who dress
in the 50s style and jump, jive and swing to the music.
If you have never been to the Rockabilly Round Up, we
say "be a circle or be a square, just be there."
